Rapid Projection Mapping System

April 9th, 2010 by Kyle

Everyone is Happy Productions developed a very fast and flexible projection mapping system which we were asked to present at Pecha Kucha Brisbane. This was part of that demonstration, however the same setup can very rapidly map out all sorts of shapes.

There are a couple of cuts, but NO post FX at all, I promise. Developed in VVVV.

I’m using quartz composer – but this has made me very interested in vvvv!
only just discovered you site – great work!

  2. Kyle says:

    Thank you Ben.
Yeah vvvv is really worth having a good look at – it’s an amazing tool. I’ve also really been meaning to get around to learning some quartz at some point.

    Is it available for download?

  6. Kyle says:

Hey Leon, no it’s not currently. We will look at releasing some modules, but they will need to be cleaned up a bit first.

Stunning work – love this. Both you and vvvv = very clever indeed.

  8. Kyle says:

Thank you Ashley! VVVV is the clever part, we just like to have fun and make pretty stuff…

Im a processing guy myself but yeh vvvv does look cool – never really dabbled before but will take the plunge. Lots of cool stuff happening down under then – gives me more of a reason to emigrate ;-)

Do it!! The plentiful sun alone would be enough to sell me…

    Hey Kyle,

Any change sharing the patches? Maybe you’ll sell it to me.

    Hi Kyle,

Very impressive tool indeed, do u think it’s mature enough for a demo test? I’m actually from Hong Kong working as event production, it could be interesting for the china market.

-Ken, email is on it’s way.
